Administration and Communications Assistant (Full Time)


£15,015 per annum

Playwrights' Studio, Scotland seeks an ambitious, well organised and highly motivated Administration and Communications Assistant to provide administration and communications support.

This full-time role would suit someone with a strong interest in theatre who wishes to develop a career in arts administration or marketing.

National Script Reading Service - Become a Reader

Paid opportunity

The National Script Reading Service is open to Scotland's writers. It allows plays to be read anonymously, with written feedback given to the writer.

We are currently looking for experienced theatre professionals who would be interested in being script readers. You should be an established playwright, dramaturg or an experienced director familiar with developing or directing new plays. A proven ability to give clear written feedback to writers of all levels is essential.

To be considered as a Reader for our National Script Reading Service please send 

  • Your up to date CV with relevant experience 
  • A sample script report that you have written.
