A Different Drum by David Cosgrove

A Scottish comedy about finding your joy.  And a little bit about drumming.

A Scottish comedy about finding your joy.  And a little bit about drumming.

Katherine has lost her joy, and thinks she can find it again by trying, among other things, fire-walking, belly dancing, or by building a sweat lodge in the back garden.

Greg hopes that if he keeps his taxi clean and his mouth shut, Katherine might just start smiling again; or at the very least let him out of the spare room and back into their bed.

When Katherine invites Hattie, with her rock chick swagger, and no discernible moral compass regarding anything sexual, round for a drumming lesson, drink is taken, snogging is attempted, truths are spoken, and Katherine and Greg get their lives well and truly rummled up.

Part of Glasgow International Comedy Festival.  There will be one interval.
