Climate Playwriting Prize

The Climate Playwriting Prize, with Climate Spring and Fern Culture, is an open invitation to playwrights to respond creatively to the climate and nature crisis.

The winner will get £15,000, dramaturgical support on developing the play, support on next steps to produce the play and more.

A climate play might not be what you think it is: it could be a family saga, a political drama, a love story or something else. The climate crisis is the story of our time: we are looking for plays about the climate and nature crisis that will entertain, move, inspire and excite audiences.
