Leap into 2025 with Playwrights' Studio at Eden Court
Playwrights' Studio is coming to Eden Court! From Wednesday 12th to Wednesday 19th March, our team will be in residence, offering local playwrights and theatre-makers the chance to write, learn, and connect.
Status: CLOSED
Playwrights' Studio Scotland runs this service for A Play, A Pie and A Pint. Anyone can send a play to be considered for production at A Play, A Pie and A Pint. The submissions window is open for three months at a time.

Our free script reading service provides an opportunity for Scotland's writers to receive valuable script feedback from theatre professionals.

The Open Fund for Individuals is one of Creative Scotland’s key funding programmes, supporting the wide range of activity initiated by artists, writers, producers and other creative practitioners in Scotland.

The Dewar Arts Award fund exceptional young artists in any discipline who do not have the financial means to achieve their full potential. Applicants must be under the age of 30 and living or working in Scotland.

The Peggy Ramsay Foundation give money to theatre writers in order to afford them the time and the space to write. You can be a writer who's only had one play professionally produced, a writer who's had dozens of successes or a writer who's somewhere in between - if you're struggling to pay the bills, then they can help.
