Playwrights' Studio Print (with small frame)

£25.00

This print was commissioned by Playwrights’ Studio Scotland to celebrate the power of new work and the centrality of Scottish playwriting to the cultural ecology of Scotland. It incorporates symbols from well-known and newer plays produced in Scotland since the foundation of the Edinburgh Festivals. Playwrights and playwriting have always been integral to the theatre scene in Scotland by bringing stories old and new to the stage; this print celebrates both them and the new worlds yet to be written by playwrights of the future. All proceeds from the print will go towards our work supporting playwrights based in Scotland year round.

About Laura M Designs (Artist)
Laura M Designs was created in 2014 while Laura was in her final year of her Graphic Design studies at University.

Her first paper cut piece was a commission for a friend’s wedding. After a few more requests for personalised pieces, she decided to utilise her skills as a graphic designer and illustrator and create her own business.

Since then, her love for all things paper has evolved. She has appeared on Kirstie's Handmade Christmas in 2017 and subsequently won the 'Best Christmas Wrapping' category and was a finalist for 'Mollie Makes' magazine's Handmade Award's in 2016. Having completed a large range of commercial and private commissions over the years, her range now also covers ready-to-go pieces, decorations and cards, all of which can be tailored directly to your needs.
